Meet Our Family

  Mary Ellen & Will Loberger - Owners

  Will and Mary Ellen opened The Animal Den in the Spring of 1998.  Their goal was to build
  a resort where dog and cat owners could bring their pets to stay without worries.  Their combined 
  education, talents, and skills, along with their passion to always do what is right, has resulted in 
  this premier facility. 

  Larry Gill - Resort Director

  Larry started with the company in March of 2003.  He started as a Resort Staff
  Member and in August of 2005 was promoted to Resort Director.  He takes
  excellent care of the Resort and its staff.  We are lucky to have him.

  Tim Littig - Trainer

  Tim began training with us in June of 2006.  The Animal Den Training Academy is lucky to
  have him. Even with his full-time job at The Indianapolis Zoo he manages to bring his best
  to every class.

  Whitney Lawson - Senior Groomer

  Whitney started grooming with us in February of 2009. The Salon at The Animal Den would not be
  the same without all of her hard work and dedication.

  Jill Watkins - Groomer

  Jill is the newest member of our Salon.  Her passion and love for dogs certainly shows in
  the quality grooming she provides.

Carrie has been an employee since July of 2008 and because of her great performance and love of animals was promoted to Resort Team Leader.  She has proven time and time again that she is a valuable employee.

Jesse came to us from Texas in 2009.  He worked in a facility similar to ours for many years.  We put his years of experience to work and he is now a Resort Team Leader and our Daycare Coordinator.

Nora has worked for us since February of 2009.  She was a Sophmore in highschool when she started and now a Freshman at IUPUI.  She is a dependable employee and we hope to have her around for awhile longer.

Jelena is currently a Senior in highschool and has been working with us since June of 2010.  She is a great employee with a positive attitude that brightens up The Animal Den.

Brianna joined our family in June of 2010 and is building great work experience to take with her into her vet career.  She is a hard worker and a valuable employee.

Amy is currently studying to be a Geologist and has worked for us since November of 2010.  Her years of experience in doggie daycare makes her very important here at The Animal Den.

Racheal joined our family in March of 2011.  After graduating highschool next year she plans to pursue a carrer as a doctor of veterinary medicine. 

Paige joined The Animal Den in March of 2011.  She certainly leads by example with her great work ethic and love of animals.  She is currently working on her certification in dog training.

Taylor joined The Animal Den family in November of 2010. As the youngest member of our team, her willingness to learn and her work ethic is an inspiration to all of us.
