Pet Oxygen Masks
Our ongoing effort to outfit all local fire departments with pet oxygen masks is a project we are passionate about. We have donated complete pet resuscitation kits to both the Zionsville and Brownsburg fire departments. We feel better knowing that if a pet happens to become a victim of a household fire, these fire fighters have a greater chance of a successful rescue through the use of the pet oxygen masks. We are continuing to provide additional kits to other area fire departments.
Education
Educating children on pet safety and pet care is another passion of ours at The Animal Den. We host field trips at our Resort for elementary aged school children. We take advantage of this opportunity to discuss proper pet care and give the children a “behind the scenes” tour of our Resort. During these field trips we present a thorough demonstration on pet safety. Hundreds of kids have learned the safest way to pet dogs and how to behave when a strange dog approaches.
Adopt The Troops
“For my senior project at school I wanted to do something that would help out deployed troops and put a smile on their faces. Pick from either of the five US military branches and adopt a deployed serviceman or woman today. Let them know that people are thinking about them and hoping for their safe return home.” – Adopt The Troops
